Almost middle-aged Aussie with similar hubby and teenage son.
Biography
I'm an Aussie, born in Canberra and now living in Melbourne. I work in international education at Swinburne University. I have two sisters and a brother whom I hardly ever see due to the tyranny of distance (they are cumulatively 4000 miles away!) and my own family consists of my husband who is a QANTAS pilot and a teenage son in his last year of school.
I was once in the Australian Navy (RAN) where I met my husband.
My interests are photography and how to get better at it, aircraft (as in taking pics of them), astronomy ( I'm a member of the Astronomical Society of Victoria and I own an 8-inch telescope), science fiction stories, films, cricket, shooting (I own a couple of rifles and go shooting on a farm in the country), and things military.
